About Me
I’m a bilingual, first-generation college student at Texas State University, currently a junior majoring in public relations with a business administration minor. Born and raised in Venezuela, I moved to the U.S. at age 11. Watching sports with my cousins growing up sparked my passion for athletics and led me to pursue a career in sports media. I started college as a marketing major but quickly found my calling in public relations, drawn to its focus on storytelling and building meaningful connections.
As a Social Media Assistant for Texas State Athletics, I’ve created content for football, basketball, softball, tennis, track & field, and more. From real-time Twitter updates to Instagram recaps and video reels, I’ve honed my creative skills and learned what it takes to elevate a brand in a fast-paced sports environment.
I also serve as a University Ambassador, where I give campus tours and share my Bobcat experience with future students. Both roles have sharpened my public speaking and content strategy skills, preparing me for a future in sports media. When I’m not working, I love traveling, especially to the beach! And spending time with my loved ones.
